Warranty

A two-year warranty on every Rippa machine

An excavator is an investment that has to pay off over years. That is why every machine in our range comes with a two-year warranty – from handover and across Europe.

No months of waiting for parts from overseas: we stock and assemble in Europe, keep the common spare parts on the shelf for you, and our certified partner dealers are there for you in your region.

Rippa Owners Club

Your warranty in the Owners Club

Register your machine in the Owners Club with the serial number from the type plate. There you can see at any time how long your warranty runs and which Rippa dealer looks after you, and you report a fault directly for your machine. Along the way you collect points for spare parts, servicing and inspections.

What the warranty covers

The warranty applies to defects in material and workmanship that appear within the warranty period although the machine was used and maintained as intended. This covers in particular:

  • Engine and drivetrain
  • Hydraulic pumps, control valves and hydraulic cylinders
  • Travel drive, slewing gear and slewing ring
  • Frame, boom, dipper arm and welded structures
  • Electrics, starter, alternator and instruments

In a warranty case, your certified local Rippa dealer is your first point of contact. You receive the defective component as a spare part – whether it is fitted at your dealer, by a workshop of your choice or by yourself, we agree together with you.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Wear parts such as bucket teeth, rubber tracks, filters, lubricants and operating fluids, seals, V-belts or pins and bushings
  • Damage caused by improper operation or overloading the machine
  • Damage caused by missed or incorrect maintenance
  • Unauthorised modifications or fitting parts that are not approved
  • Damage caused by accident, transport, vandalism or force majeure
  • Normal signs of use such as paint scratches, rust at scuff marks or faded decals

How to keep your warranty valid

Follow the operating manual

Use the machine only for the intended work and within the stated limits.

Keep to the service intervals

Oil, filter and hydraulic oil changes at the prescribed operating hours. Easiest at your Rippa dealer – then the service is documented straight away.

Use approved parts

Use spare parts and operating fluids that are approved for your machine.

Keep your records

Register your machine in the Owners Club – serial number, purchase date and warranty period are stored there. Please also keep your invoice and service records. Go to the Owners Club

Warranty and statutory rights

The two exist side by side and do not mean the same thing. Our warranty neither limits nor replaces your statutory rights.

Our warranty

A voluntary commitment from us: two years from handover on defects in material and workmanship, under the conditions described on this page. It applies whether you buy privately or commercially.

Statutory rights

A statutory right of consumers towards the seller if the goods were already defective at handover. In the EU it runs for two years from receipt and applies without any separate commitment.

How to report a warranty claim

Your first point of contact is your certified local Rippa dealer. If your machine is registered in the Owners Club, the quickest way is right there.

1

Open your machine in the Owners Club

If your machine is registered, its serial number, purchase date and dealer are already stored, and you report the fault right there. Otherwise, have the model designation, order number and date of purchase ready.

2

Describe the damage

Briefly describe what happened and, if possible, send a photo or a short video with it. That speeds up the assessment considerably.

3

Agree on a solution

Your Rippa dealer examines the case together with us, clarifies the cause and takes care of the spare part or repair.
